Good morning we are with a customer on Bridge Street at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire, we are here to help the customer install his Apple Macbook Pro laptop computer, this involved setting up a HP Officejet 7310 all in one printer as a network printer to allow network sharing between the computers.

and transferring data including My Documents and Pictures from the customers old Windows XP Desktop PC.

Data recovery in Wellesbourne

This afternoon i am on Grange Gardens in Wellesbourne to see a computer that is giving a blue screen of death and rebooting. To be honest the machine is fairly aged but the data is important so we booted in to recovery console and attempted to read the drive this resulted in the “Drive can not be enumerated” error message and we then attempted to run a check disk on the harddrive, this is a 50/50 situation and takes a good 60 to 90 minutes to complete but as the data was urgent we tried it and suceeded.The important thing to remember is that although it was working straight after there still might be an issue with the hardrive so we left the customer backing up his data to an external hardrive.

UPDATE as is the case in murphy’s law 2 weeks after we did this the computer died again but the customer was happy due to the fact his data had been saved and he had taken on board the warning and updated his backup each time he used.

New computer installation and data transfer in Wellesbourne

Good Morning, We are with a customer on Mountford Close in Wellesbourne, We are here to setup the customers new computer system, This includes installing the customers Software, setting up Antivirus and Firewalls, Installing the customers Existing printer, Connecting the Internet and Email Systems, As well as this we are recovering data from an old computer to transfer to the new PC, The data includes Documents, Pictures,Music, Emails,Favourites and the address book.

Computer not booting up at Wellesbourne

Good afternoon for our Last job today we are with a customers in Wellesbourne, We are here because the customer computer is not booting up and giving a “non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready” error to repair this we loaded the recovery console from CD and tried to read the drive this failed so we ran the recovery program this claimed to have fixed many faults and the drive was read able again. We rebooted the machine and all was fixed the customer has been told to back up any important or irreplaceable data like pictures in case the machine fails again.
